
It’s the New Year, we’ve made new plans and we’ve got new ambitions, but what the heck, let’s unplan our 2012!
Southern Comfort’s first venture of the year with us, here at Grape Digital, is to get us all out of that terrible habit of making the same old resolutions. It’s cold, it’s wet, and we all need a touch of the New Orleans warmth that Southern Comfort is notorious for sharing out.
So, to kick off 2012, Southern Comfort UK have launched a personalised video Facebook campaign, staring New Orleans’s very own Baron Jazz, to inspire Southern Comfort friends and fans to unplan their 2012 and embrace the unexpected.
The Baron loves the unpredictable, unanticipated side of life, so if you’ve decided to visit the gym every day this year, Baron Jazz might just have a few words to say about not taking life too seriously. He’s certainly not here to scupper your healthy life or self improvement, he’s here to make sure none of us forget to have fun in the midst of it all. As he says, “2012 needs no plannin’ and no worrying’. Just step away from the salad, put the lettuce down and Embrace the Unexpected.”
Users can access the “Unplan Your 2012” tab on the Southern Comfort UK Facebook page, where they are asked to submit the name of a friend along with their resolution. Baron Jazz then takes this information and records them a personal message in which he lends a helping hand to the recipient to aid them in living 2012 in a more unexpected, and therefore more rewarding and interesting, way.
This latest initiative continues the ‘Here’s to the Unexpected’ campaign by the brand.
